Applications and Terms and Conditions for Season Parking

By your access and use of our services, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions below, do not proceed with the use of the Centralized Car Park Portal System (“CCPMS”)

1. Application

1.1 Application of Season Parking Permit (“SPP”) and Vehicle Parking Certificate (“VPC”) shall be made through the CCPMS.

1.2 By submitting an application through the CCPMS, the applicant, i.e. the CCPMS registered account holder (“Applicant”) shall be deemed to have:

a) declared that the particulars and information provided are true and accurate;
b) consented to the collection, use and disclosure of his/her personal data by us (the property owner, DBS Trustee Limited (as trustee of Mapletree Industrial Trust) (“MIT”), the manager, Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Ltd (“MITM”) and the property manager, Mapletree Facilities Services Pte Ltd (“MFS”) (collectively, the “Mapletree”)) and its directors, employees and agents in connection with the car park services including incidental purposes as may be appropriate;
c) read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1.3 The Applicant shall provide to the designated Property Management Office located within the respective MIT properties, within 7 calendar days upon request, any additional information which may be considered necessary in providing the car park services. Failing which, the application shall be rejected.

1.4 In the event that an application is submitted on behalf of an employee of the Applicant, the Applicant confirms that the vehicle driver as indicated in the application (SPP holder) is an employee of the Applicant.

1.5 Any change in particulars must be updated in a timely manner via the CCPMS.

1.6 Applicants have no right to any refund of payment, except for (i) withdrawal of SPP made by MIT under clause 1.7(c)(i) below and (ii) termination of SPP request by the Applicant in accordance with clause 1.12 below. Such refund of payment is limited to the unused period of the whole of such calendar month only (strictly no pro-rated refund of unused period of a calendar month).

1.7 MIT reserves the right:

a) to reject any application without issuing any reason whatsoever;
b) to close the car park at any time without prior written notice and direct all vehicles to be parked at an alternative location if necessary (but without any obligation to do so);
c) to terminate/withdraw SPP :

(i) by giving fourteen (14) calendar days’ written notice to the Applicant via email without any reason whatsoever. In such event, the Applicant may be placed on waiting list; or
(ii) immediately without prior notice if SPP holder is found to be in contravention of any terms as set out herein;

d) not to renew SPP / VPC as and when it deems fit;
e) to amend these terms and conditions from time to time, as it deems fit, without prior written notice; and
f) at any time to suspend the operations of the CCPMS or all or any part of the services contained therein for any period of time without prior notice whether for the purposes of updating, upgrading, system maintenance, or otherwise.

1.8 SPP are subject to availability and are on a first-come-first-served basis. Once the SPP are sold out, Applicants will be put on a waiting list and will be offered as and when it becomes available.

1.9 All applications are for a maximum period of 3 full calendar months, save for the initial month for new application which may not be a full calendar month.

1.10 For Applicant on waiting list,

a) an email notification to the registered email address in the CCPMS (“Registered Email Address”) will be sent as and when SPP are available, and
b) the available SPP will automatically be withdrawn after 48 hours from the time of notification or as soon as it is taken up.

1.11 Change of Vehicle

a) Transfer of SPP is not permitted except for the circumstances as listed below, PROVIDED THAT copies of supporting documents as required by MIT as proof of the various circumstances are submitted before transfer application will be considered:

(i) transfer of vehicle ownership and/or registration of the new vehicle;
(ii) vehicle under repair and a replacement vehicle is used by Applicant;
(iii) In-Vehicle Unit (“IU”)/On-Board Unit (“OBU”) replacement.

b) If the transfer application is approved and full payment (if any) is received, the change of IU/OBU in the system will take effect 2 working days after submission. For the avoidance of doubt, applicable parking charges of the car park continue to apply until the effective update into the system.
c) Transfer of SPP application is restricted to no more than 2 times per year.

1.12 Termination

a) The Applicant may terminate its SPP through the CCPMS.
b) Termination requests must be in advance of the requested termination date. MIT will not accept request where the requested termination date has passed.

1.13 A non-refundable administrative fee of S$50 is payable for every VPC application.

1.14 A lot maintenance fee computed based on the total number of months of VPC applied is payable upon the VPC application.

1.15 For the avoidance of doubt, all fees paid for the application of VPC exclude applicable parking charges of the car park.

1.16 All new application of VPC must be submitted no less than fourteen (14) calendar days from the commencement date of the VPC. Failing which, the application will not be considered, unless MIT agreed otherwise in writing.

1.17 Strictly no transfer of VPC under any circumstances.

2. Payment

2.1 Payment for SPP, VPC and for any other services such as renewal, shall be made in accordance with the payment methods specified on the CCPMS (https://carpark.mapletree.com.sg).

2.2 Applicants must ensure their corporate account users authenticate and release payment promptly. Applications without payment received by the stipulated timeline will be declined automatically.

2.3 SPP application will be processed after full payment of all applicable fees is received, and when the SPP is confirmed, it will be activated.

2.4 VPC application will be processed after full payment of all applicable fees is received, and when the VPC is confirmed, it will be activated and a confirmation email will be sent to the Registered Email Address.

2.5 When directed to third party payment processor, the Applicant will be subject to terms and conditions governing the use of the third party’s service and personal information collection and retention practices. Mapletree shall not be responsible for any loss or harm to Applicant resulting from its use of that third party’s service. The Applicant shall be responsible for any fees that may be charged to it or by its bank in relation to any payments.

2.6 All SPP renewal payment must be received by MIT no less than 3 working days before its expiry, failing which, the SPP shall be released for other applicants. The Applicant can make payment based on the “Notice of Payment” available in the CCPMS which will also be sent to the email address registered in the CCPMS. Upon successful payment, a valid Tax invoice can be downloaded.

2.7 The rates of SPP/ VPC may be revised from time to time as MIT, MITM and/or MFS deemed fit. Any increased fees will apply to prospective months. Applicants shall upon notice, effect such top-up payments in accordance with the notice.

2.8 No walk-in application or cash payment will be entertained.

3. Usage

3.1 The Applicant/SPP holder/VPC holder shall obey all traffic signs, rules and regulations as well as notices displayed in the car park at all times, including but not limited to the following:

a) the car park is only available during its operating hours (as may be varied from time to time) and all vehicles are to be vacated from the car park outside of such hours;
b) for VPC, the vehicle is authorized to park in the car park from 12midnight to 6am only;
c) not to

(i) bring any hazardous or combustible material into the car park,
(ii) park vehicle in undesignated area,
(iii) engage in illegal, offensive or immoral activities,
(iv) resell or assign or offer their SPP,
(v) carry out any major repairs or rectification to vehicle, unless with the prior written approval by the Property Management Office located at the respective MIT properties,
(vi) washing of vehicles, and
(vii) aid or abet any carpark user to evade carpark charges, whether by allowing tailgating or otherwise.


4. Disclaimer of liability

4.1 Mapletree and any third party service providers (including the payment processing service providers) and their directors, employees and agents, shall not be liable for and the Applicant/SPP holder/VPC holder and other car park users shall not claim against the same, in respect of any theft, loss or damage or cost or expense, of any nature, howsoever caused or incurred, whether due to or arising from their negligence, want of care, acts, omissions or default or otherwise, to or of any vehicle or the fittings or contents of any vehicle moving in and out of or parked in the car park or other personal property. Every vehicle whilst in the car park is entirely at its owner's or driver's risk. Where the vehicle used by the Applicant/SPP holder/VPC holder is not owned by him/her, the owner of the vehicle shall: (a) be informed by the Applicant/SPP holder/VPC holder of the terms of this disclaimer, and (b) by permitting the Applicant/SPP holder/VPC holder to park the vehicle at the car park, be deemed to have agreed to be bound by the terms of this disclaimer.

5. Other terms and conditions

5.1 The terms as displayed at the respective car parks are hereby incorporated by reference, save that in the event of any inconsistency with those terms, these terms and conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.

5.2 The Applicant shall keep confidential all communications, discussions or correspondence between Applicant and Mapletree and any matter or information in relation to the SSP or VPC.

5.3 The law governing these terms and conditions shall be the laws of Singapore, and any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Singapore.
